Love Island exes Sammy Root and Jess Harding were forced to come together over the weekend, as they were seated on the same table at the Pride Of Britain Awards.
The pair, who had walked the red carpet separately, were tucking into a meal alongside Ty and his girlfriend Ella Thomas. Also joining them were winter Love Island 2023 winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan, who recently opened up about their home life to OK! magazine. Jess, 23, remained tight-lipped about the reasons behind the break-up, continuing: "I really don't want to go into detail by doing a big statement, but we're just very different and behave differently and that's it."Sammy, however, was keen to share his "total shock" over the split news with fans, after the news broke. In a statement on Instagram, the 22 year old penned, "Hi guys. I thought I would come online to address today's news about me and Jess.
"To be totally clear – I at least wanted a face to face conversation to see if our relationship could be saved and felt this would be the respectful way forward.
