Love Island fans were wowed as new host Maya Jama made her arrival at the sprawling South African villa on the popular ITV dating contest. The series began in epic style, as a helicopter circled over the villa with Maya on board.
This series marks the debut of TV and radio presenter Maya 28, who has taken over hosting duties from Laura Whitmore following her departure last year. The new series has a James Bond actress, a farmer, and the show’s first partially blind contestant all enter the villa. But it was stunning Maya who immediately grabbed fans' attention with fans saying she might as well bag the £50,000 cash prize. She performed the show's famous slow motion entrance in a red two-piece crochet outfit.
