Love Island has delivered its fair share of shockers and plot twists over the years. However, the latest season is no exception, with fans buzzing about the hidden connection between two contestants, Jess Harding and Sammy Root.
A savvy Love Island devotee spotted a telling Instagram activity that set rumours spinning. A snapshot of Jess that her friend posted had received a "like" from none other than Sammy himself, months before they entered the Love Island villa. One fan wrote on the Reddit thread: “I wonder if they know this or if its a complete surprise to them because they didn't seem to recognize each other at all when first meeting each other on their date. But it seems like their social circles intertwine somehow so I guess introducing each other to each others friends is going to be pretty easy for them.”A third chimed in: “Haha this happened to my friend and her boyfriend.
During the grand gesture, Sammy confessed: "I feel like I don't get feelings easy, and like, it's big for me. Even just being in the Hideaway last night, being in there, just the two of us... it felt good."
