The Love Island 2024 final voting figures reveal Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan won the show with 41 per cent of the public vote - six per cent more than runners-up Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies
Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan have captured hearts across the nation, becoming the first Black couple to clinch the title in the UK version of the beloved show. Their enchanting journey has won them a whopping 41% of the public vote.
This years win was a stark contrast to last year when Jess and Sammy took the title with the lowest ever majority of just 34.57%. Mimii expressed her awe at their landmark victory: "I'm so shocked about it. It's nice. Hopefully it will set pace for more diverse representation. It's overwhelming, but in the best possible way."
Reflecting on his most swoon-worthy moment in the villa, heartthrob Josh confessed: "When I first saw her, I was so taken aback. Obviously I had watched a bit and saw how she was so I was already fond of her. But coming in I was cool, calm and collected until she walked in. I knew straight away. She wasn't really looking at me, she said she was, but she's got a good poker face."
