Love Island host Maya Jama says show 'works' as Molly-Mae and Tommy get engaged LoveIsland
Love Island host Maya Jama has said that the show "works", as she shared a special message to Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague after their engagement. The pair were runners-up in the 2019 series of the show and have since gone from strength-to strength, with them welcoming daughter Bambi earlier this year.
Maya, 28, started by saying: "Before we get into the chat, I’ve got some breaking news, everyone! If you haven’t been on Instagram, Molly-Mae and Tommy have just got engaged! Congratulations!She then continued to say: "They’ve got a baby, engagement, just a happy ever after!" Tommy, 24, got down on bended knee and proposed to Molly-Mae at a stunning cliffside location. Molly, also 24, held their baby girl Bambi in her arms as she said yes, and the pair shared a hug with many tears flowing.
2019 winner Amber Gill also wished the couple well as she wrote: "Congrats you two babes. Always the cutest videos", while Mollie Salmon said to the couple: "The perfect family … Congratulations to you both."
