‘Movie night really is as dramatic as it looks’ 👀🤭
I'm so excited for tonight's episode and naturally, it's got me thinking about what it was like filming the drama last summer in the Mallorca villa.
‘Movie night really is as dramatic as it looks’ Love Island can be a little predictable post-Casa Amor, but you always know there will be fireworks at movie night. Last year, movie night was an evening we got really dressed up for. It was quite sophisticated and eBay actually sent in a stylist to help us pick outfits, and we made a real effort with our hair.
When it comes to choosing which videos to watch after getting the questions right, it’s surprisingly easy. For my series, only a few of the girls – Gemma, Tasha, Ekin-Su – were actually in couples, and it’s only really the people paired up who are desperate to see certain clips. Ekin-Su got slightly pissed off because she wanted to see what Davide was like without her there, but we were more interested in Dami’s antics.
And while she’s been called out a couple of times, she’s managed to get away with a lot of it. Tonight could reignite a lot of annoyance from Jessie, Samie and Claudia too. I think Casey especially has really downplayed what he got up to. Claudia was adamant that she’d have never got back with him if he recoupled, but what he did was actually worse than recoupling! He had the kisses and then thought ‘well, I’ll get away with it’...
