Love Island's Amy Day gets ‘injectable moisturiser’ treatment Profhilo loved by Gemma Collins
Love Island 2021 contestant Amy Day has been getting a little post-villa treatment, revealing that she's had Profhilo at Exult Cosmetics in Berkshire.
“No filter or edit just weekend vibes I feel so FRESH,” the star captioned another post-treatment Instagram snap. “I’m loving the lead up to turning 40!!! It’s exciting. I also need to plan one huge huge party.” Like traditional fillers, Profhilo is made of hyaluronic acid – the body’s natural hydrator – but the difference is, the molecules aren’t "cross-linked". In plain English, that means they spread out under the skin after being injected, and immediately flood the deeper layers with moisture.
Lynne says: There’s a lot of hype around Profhilo so let’s start with the basics – it’s not about instant gratification. It’s done in two sessions, about a month apart, and it takes time for the deep-down regeneration to kick in.
