ITV Love Island’s Davide Sanclimenti has opened up on the reason that he and girlfriend Ekin-Su split up this year, as he reflected on their 'communication' issues and rocky romance

Love Island 2022 winner Davide Sanclimenti has finally opened up on the "reason" that he and girlfriend Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu had a dramatic break-up earlier on this year.

Sadly, many thought the pair couldn't sustain their rocky romance when Davide posted a story confirming he and Ekin-Su, who has signed up to star in The Traitors, had called it quits on his Instagram story a few months ago. Speaking to The Sun, Davide has now explained what went wrong, and that the main issue was down to their communication and how they handled the public eye after the villa.

Chatting openly at the launch party of his new sports range Sci-Mx, Davide also said that there were things both sides wanted to "work on", and neither he or Ekin-Su were "perfect in the relationship".
