LoveIsland: Lucinda and Aaron are dumped from the villa ahead of Casa Amor
It was revealed at the end of Friday's show by voiceover host Iain Stirling that there would be a vote with fans asked to pick their favourite couple.
While Faye then received another message that informed the Islanders that the public had been voting for their favourite couple and the duo with the fewest votes will be dumped. The text confirmed that both Abigail and Tyler, as well as their partners Toby and Kaz, would be safe. Talking after the exit, Aaron said: "It's disappointing to be leaving the villa, it feels like my family, I've been there from the start and obviously I'm really happy to be leaving with Lucinda anyway. Can't imagine leaving by myself!"
"It is bittersweet because I loved it there and you never want to go, but your time comes, and it does for everyone. I remember standing up and looking around seeing the couples standing up and thinking 'Oh my God, if any of these couples leave it’ll be a big thing.'" "We’ve just been getting to know each other within the villa so everyone else has been around. I’d like to start with a first date, that would be nice. I’ve planned a little something, a surprise for her.
"But they like the girls I’ve brought home, which is very, very few. I think they’ll like her, she has the same energy as girls I’ve dated. You can tell she’s driven, she’s hard working, she’s cute and chilled and that’s what I want, what I need and my family knows that as well."
