LoveIsland's Mike is no longer a police officer
Mike Boateng is one of the 12 singletons who have been unveiled to star on the new series of Love Island.
Originally from London, the hunk has been serving with Greater Manchester Police, but has hung up the uniform to fly to South Africa. In his introduction video for the first ever winter series of the show, Mike tells viewers he is a police officer — and that he's used his handcuffs to woo girls into bed."I'm lucky because of my job as a police officer, I can use the cheeky lines about getting handcuffs out! At the time of the official announcement, Mike says his "charm and character" make him the perfect Love Islander.
