'I just wanted her here as quickly and safely as possible!'
The new mum then went on to add that her labour had been slow to progress, leading to her being offered a hormone drip to help push things along and an epidural for pain management.
She continued:"The epidural is the best thing ever invented and I'm so glad I had it! From 6am to 3pm I went from 2cm to 9cm with minimal pain." However, there were further complications during delivery as her baby's heart rate began to increase rapidly while pushing, leading to her having an emergency c-section after doctors were unable to use forceps.
"As soon as I knew baby was in distress I didn’t care how they got her out, I just wanted her here as quickly and safely as possible! The second I heard her cry every fear I had left my body," she added.
