LoveIsland’s Sherif Lanre was axed from show after ‘accidentally hurting Molly-Mae Hague during a play fight’
The reason for Sherif Lanre’s departure from Love Island was not revealed, with the 20 year old chef stating that he had broken villa rules.
A source close to Love Island said: “Sherif was booted out of the Love Island villa after having a play fight with Molly-Mae in which she was hurt.” He explained that after Molly-Mae was accidentally kicked in the groin, he made a vile joke to co-star Tommy Fury, which he now deeply regrets. “She flinched and bent over to protect herself. Then she stood up and seemed fine and we started laughing about it.“I’ve never used the word before and don’t know where it came from. I think I’ve heard other people saying it and it just popped out.“This has been blown out of all proportion and I have been made to look like a terrible person when I am not.”
