This new video puts Britain's oddest new hobby - 'Hobby Horsing' - in the spotlight, with even Love Island star, Chris Taylor, giving it a whirl. The pastime involves participants riding a stick horse rather than a real one, leaping over obstacles, sometimes even on roller skates.
It follows a study of 2,000 adults which revealed that 14 per cent have kept a hobby hidden from their loved ones. The main reasons include fear of judgement and concern that it might be perceived as strange or weird . The study discovered that 54 per cent of those surveyed prefer to pick up a new hobby away from people they know - either alone or with strangers. Being somewhat bashful about their hobbies, exactly three-quarters of people, including a remarkable 83% of those aged 18-24, view their personal interests as central to their identity.
