'It felt too good to be true... It was honestly amazing.'
The two part-series, which airs on ITV2 over the course of the next two nights , features moments where they each return to the places of their upbringing, leaving them both emotional.“It felt too good to be true,” said Ekin-Su. “I kept thinking ‘how are you here in Turkey with my grandma?’ It was honestly amazing.”
Davide, who grew up in Italy, was similarly baffled by how quickly their relationship had progressed, saying: “It was surreal at the beginning because I didn’t expect to go into the Villa and then fall in love and bring the person that I love to my hometown. But at the same time, I was so excited and really enjoyed all of those special moments. I will cherish them.”, also revealed that they gained an insight into each other’s lives across the road trip.
Davide, who said his partner is like a “female version” of himself, said they were “always laughing” on the trip due to the “copy and paste” characteristics they share.
