An iconic Love Island star has announced that they have taken up a part-time teaching job, just over one year after being crowned winner of the hit ITV2 dating show
A Love Island star has revealed that they have returned to their day job, one year after winning the second series of the winter version of the show. Kai Fagan , who recently got engaged to fellow Love Island er Sanam Harrinanan , has announced that he has finished his first week back in the classroom after returning to the world of education.
“First, week back working in Education I’ve always said I’d return and after the whirlwind of the last few years now is the perfect time,” he wrote. “I was offered a role to work part-time teaching Sports and I jumped at the opportunity. This allows me to continue to do everything I’m currently doing but also provides me with the opportunity to follow my passion and continue my career in education.
The TV star went on to add that he’d worked “extremely hard” to become a teacher, and it was something he’d spent five years studying for. He also opened up about his reasons to become a teacher, and recalled a heartwarming story from his time at secondary school when a PE teacher expressed his eagerness for him to join in with rugby.
