A former Love Island star has called out Maura Higgins for not keeping their 'name of out of her mouth' following comments she'd made during a recent podcast interview
A Love Island legend has hit out at fellow Islander Maura Higgins for not keeping their “name out of her mouth”. Curtis Pritchard , who dated Maura after coupling up with her on the ITV2 show in 2019, has taken a swipe at his ex amid rumours that she could potentially be entering this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle.
And now, Curtis, 28, has responded to Maura’s words. “I’ve no idea what’s she done. I don’t even know what Podcast you’re on about. I have no idea,” he told The Sun while at the the Irish Post Awards. While speaking to Paul on his podcast, Maura explained that Curtis wasn’t her “dream man”, but she gave him a chance as there was nobody else on her radar in the villa. “When you're locked in a house, I say locked but you're in a house and you're in there for X amount of time. You're going to start liking people that you wouldn't normally like,” she said.
After finishing Love Island 2019 in fourth place, Maura and Curtis continued their relationship outside of the villa. However, the pair called time on their relationship after seven months together.
