LoveIsland stars share emotional family reunions as they return to the UK
After two months away from their nearest and dearest, this year’s Love Island finalists were finally reunited with their loved ones in an emotional family reunion at Heathrow airport.
Leading the pack for the celebratory welcome home was Tanya’s family, who had even created a homemade pink banner to greet the biomedical science student upon her return. Meanwhile, Samie was greeted instead by her best friend Abbey Allen, who took to her own Instagram story to delightedly share how happy she was to finally be reunited with her BFF.
Shortly after the arrival of the first few Islanders, the show's winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan also headed back to the Uk, where they were greeted by an elated group of friends and family, who had come prepared to welcome the victorious couple home. While at the airport, Kai also took a moment to pose with runner-up Ron Hall, as the duo shared a cheeky selfie together in a sweet social media post.
“We’ve seen you guys from the start, we’ve seen you grow, we’ve seen you fall out, we’ve seen you pick up the pieces, we’ve seen you make up and to me, that’s love,” exclaimed Cynthia.
