EXCLUSIVE: Love Island's Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies have revealed a huge relationship update three months after leaving the ITV2 dating show saying 'we're so grateful'
Welsh sweethearts Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies have been living in a bubble over the last few months as they adjust to life in the real world after a successful stint on Love Island. The duo met on day one of the ITV2 dating show this summer and made it to the final, nabbing second place behind co-stars Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan, falling in love on the way.
“We had a really positive reaction coming out, we didn’t expect people to take to us so much, the love that we’ve had is unbelievable,” Nicole says. “You look at on a TV screen and it’s like, ‘Oh, it’ll be easy’ but it’s a lot harder than you think. You go in and have no phone but then come out and have all these people talking to you and following you on social media, it is a lot. But it’s amazing. Being in there is so amazing, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
“It’s something that no one else can really understand.” Despite the Love Island villa bringing together singles from all over the UK, South Wales natives Nicole and Ciaran already only lived 30 minutes apart before they met.
