Reality TV star Jack Fincham has been sentenced to six weeks in prison for a dog attack incident. The 32-year-old, who rose to fame winning Love Island in 2018, pleaded guilty at Southend-on-Sea Magistrates' Court to two counts of being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog.
One incident involved a runner named Robert Sudell being injured in Swanley, Kent, in September 2022, while another saw a woman's leg grabbed by Fincham's black Cane Corso dog, Elvis, in Grays, Essex, in June 2024. Fincham was initially offered a caution and a responsibility course in relation to the first incident, but a second incident led to his imprisonment. He was also ordered to pay £3680 in compensation and court costs, with a payment plan of £400 per month after release. His on-off girlfriend, Chloe Brockett, broke down in tears upon hearing the verdict. This latest controversy adds to Fincham's legal troubles, as he previously faced backlash for importing Elvis from Russia in 2021 due to the dog's cropped ears. He has also been convicted of drug driving and speeding. Should Fincham comply with his probation conditions, including keeping Elvis on a lead, muzzled in public, and not leaving him unsupervised with children, he may be able to have his dog returned to him.
