Love Island star Josh Le Grove, who appeared in the 2022 series of the dating show, has revealed he is dating American TikTok star and model Mataya Sweeting
Two years after he appeared on Love Island, Josh Le Grove has shared with fans on social media that he is dating American TikTok star Mataya Sweeting. Josh, who now works as a model, starred in the 2022 series of the dating show and was originally paired with Danica Taylor, but later connected with Summer Botwe.
Josh has previously spoken about the eight days he spent on Love Island, revealing he tried to quit the villa earlier and needed time each day in therapy to cope with filming. On the Secure the Insecure podcast with Johnny Seifert, he said: "I was in welfare for 20 to 40 minutes every day just because the only place that I could actually get stuff off my chest,” he said.
“I would like to clarify that me and Josh are only friends and haven’t decided to pursue things romantically at this time,” she said. In an interview with the Mirror shortly afterward, fellow Love Islander Coco Lodge said she wasn’t surprised. "I think she did quite like him but he's obviously come out to this new, exciting life. I think him and a few other of the boys are just lapping up the attention and enjoying it. I would say that when she was still in the villa, like I said on the show reunion, he was moving a bit crazy - enjoying people recognising him and that's absolutely fine."
