PAGASA said the low pressure area (LPA) east of Mindanao may enter the country’s area of responsibility on Sunday, June 25. ManilaBulletin READ:

PAGASA weather specialist Grace Castañeda said the LPA was last seen 995 kilometers east-northeast of Mindanao, outside the Philippine area of responsibility , as of Sunday morning.

Castañeda pointed out that the LPA has a low chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next two to three days, but PAGASA will continue to monitor this weather disturbance because the possibility of it developing into a cyclone has not been eliminated. ITCZ is the convergence of winds from the northern and southern hemispheres where rain-bearing clouds form. The rest of the country can expect “fair weather” with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and a chance of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
