THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Tuesday that the low pressure area (LPA) which was embedded along the inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ) would bring a significant amount of rain' in the next three days.

Image from Dost_pagasaPagasa in its advisory said the LPA was last spotted 890 kilometers east of northeastern Mindanao.The weather agency said the LPA and ITCZ were dumping rain up to 100 millimeters in Caraga, Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, Bukidnon, Davao Oriental and Davao de Oro.
On Wednesday, the same amount of rainfall will be likely in the same areas, while on Thursday, areas in Eastern Visayas and Caraga will also have the same rainfall amount.Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated downpours or thunderstorms, Pagasa said.
