The LRT-1 will suspend operations from Dec. 3 to 4 for the reintegration of LRT-1 Roosevelt Station with its existing 19 operational stations from Baclaran to Balintawak, its private operator Light Rail Manila Corporation said. | JEMendozaINQ

During the weekend closure, the LRMC will conduct readiness tests, trial runs, and exercises to check the integration of the Roosevelt area under LRT-1’s brand-new Alstom signaling system.“We advise our passengers to plan their trips ahead,” LRMC chief operating officer Rolando Paulino III said in a statement.

The LRMC said the LRT-1 will be operational on Monday, December 5, or once “the results of operational exercises are confirmed to be acceptable.”
