A driver was slapped with a 90-day suspension by the Land Transportation Office after a clash with two motorcycle riders participating in the BOSS Ironman Motorcycle Challenge in Ilocos Sur. | JEMendozaINQ
The incident that became viral on social media happened in San Esteban town last month and left the motorcycle riders with serious physical injuries.According to the LTO, the unidentified driver did not face its Intelligence and Investigation Division despite being summoned to appear on March 9 to explain why he or she should not be charged for reckless driving under Republic Act No. 4136.
The BMW Owners Society of Saferiders , meanwhile, was given five days to file its position paper explaining why it should not be held liable for RA 4136’s Road Safety Rules and Standards.
