CCTVs will be utilized again to discipline erring motorists

Through NCAP , erring motorists are caught using CCTV s that are placed in strategic locations along major thoroughfares within Metro Manila or elsewhere that no-contact apprehension is implemented. A notice of traffic violation will then be sent to the traffic violator’s registered address on their vehicle’s registration.

LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza II said the recorded videos will be used in issuing Show Cause Orders against any erring motorists in a bid to discipline them as part of the road safety measures that are in line with the instruction of the Department of Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista.
