Ahead of their wedding, Luane Dy and Carlo Gonzales recalled how their love story started: At a fateful encounter at their common friend’s birthday party.
In the latest episode of “Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel,” Carlo said he casually met Luane when they both came alone to their friend’s party.“Wala kaming kakilala talaga doon sa party, yung may birthday lang,” Luane added.
According to Carlo, they had a great time talking about their lives then, but they didn’t keep in touch after that.“Doon talaga nabuo,” Carlo said. “We see each other almost [on a] daily basis tapos yun na, kapag mga down time nagkukwentuhan [kami]” he added."Parang siya 'yung quiet type. Nasa isang sulok lang siya tas may dala lang siyang libro, wala siyang ibang kakausapin magbabasa lang siya, 'bahala kayo sa buhay niyo diyan', ganun siya," Luane described her groom, admitting that his ways were "effective."
Meanwhile, Carlo said his bride was super bubbly. "Nung first time I met her, bubby parang ano ayun bubbly personality tapos a little bit loud ganun, pero its ano e, maaano mo siya, it will grow on you. Which it did in my case," he said.
