Luca Marini pipped Jorge Martin to top spot during the second Friday practice at the Indian MotoGP.
After a difficult free practice one where he finished 16th, Jack Miller began the extended Practice two session by losing the front-end of his KTM.
Pushing his luck, Bezzecchi then ran off circuit and through the gravel at turn one at the start of his next lap. Over three tenths clear of sector one, Bezzecchi lost a bit of time as the lap developed although it didn’t stop him from breaking into the 1m 45s barrier. Vinales was the next rider who threatened the top time, but unlike Morbidelli, the Aprilia rider kept hold of his advantage as he went three tenths clear.
