'Lucid Earth' is a trademark filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is probably the name of the brand's upcoming sub-$50K SUV. Lucid Motors also filed trademarks for 'Earth Dream Edition' indicating a top-level launch edition trim similar to the Air sedan's initial production run.Lucid CEO Peter Rawlinson recently announced the new high-volume, mid-size electric SUV is slated to start production in late 2026.
Earlier this week, Lucid CEO Peter Rawlinson confirmed that the company will build a new high-volume, mid-size electric SUV with a starting price 'around $48,000.' While he also said that it will begin production sometime in late 2026, no other details were revealed, including what it will be called.Obviously, Earth hasn't yet been officially announced as the name of what will be Lucid's third model, but it seems like a good bet.
