The Lionesses have stormed through the Euros this year to reach the final against Germany and one player has been key to some of their successes, Lucy Bronze.
She was born in Berwick-upon-Tweed as the daughter of a Portuguese father and an English mother. She was introduced to football aged 10 by older brother Jorge and as they say - the rest is history.. During her time in Leeds, she worked at a Domino's in Headingley and to celebrate her previous employment, the branch has temporarily renamed itself Lucy's and is giving away free pizza.
Her footballing career has also taken her all over and she even scored at Elland Road against the Netherlands in June this year. Playing in the position of right-back, she got a goal and an assist against Sweden. At the time she was playing for French side Olympique Lyonnais where she won three league titles and three Champions League titles in as many years. Now, she has moved to Barcelona where she is sure to impress.
