It looked like Tahith Chong’s 80th minute goal for the home side had secured them a stunning victory, but the Colombian headed in late on to pinch a point. Diaz revealed a message of support for his father after scoring the goal, as he is still held hostage after being kidnapped in Colombia last week.
Ross Barkley spread the ball to the right-wing and Issa Kabore put in a brilliant low cross for the former Manchester United midfielder Chong to poke home. Tahith Chong scored a memorable opener for Luton Town As the minutes ticked away it seemed like it was going to be a first Premier League home win for Luton, but Diaz was the hero for the travelling fans.
