Newly crowned World Darts Champion Luke Littler can finally enjoy the full benefits of adulthood after turning 18. The victory, which saw him defeat Michael van Gerwen, came just after his 17th birthday last year, meaning he was unable to legally celebrate with alcohol. Now, Littler can also legally purchase darts, which are classified as weapons in the UK for individuals under 18.
Darts world champion Luke Litter is finally allowed to do something every other PDC player is already able to now that he has turned 18.went one better than last year by claiming the Sid Waddell trophy at Alexandra Palace, beating Michael van Gerwen in the final.
In an interview with the PA news agency, Littler said: "I haven't got anything planned really because there is a lot of darts around this time. "Of course. That's the best match, let's be honest," said Van Gerwen during a post-game press conference.
