Target, home of some of the biggest names in darts, has launched a 'groundbreaking' new product that's set to revolutionise how you play darts
While darts may be traditionally seen as a staple in pubs, technological advancements have players taking their love for the game online, duelling from the comfort of their living rooms. Online darts' surge in popularity has led to fans using various apps to go head-to-head with competitors globally.
However, Target, known for endorsing top dart personalities including young star Luke Littler, Rob Cross, Nathan Aspinall and darts legend Phil 'The Power' Taylor, has developed what they're calling a 'groundbreaking' new product geared towards revolutionising home games: the Virt Camera. Players have historically relied on using their phones or webcams to display their dartboards via the DartCounter app, giving opponents a glimpse of where darts land.
The quick setup process allows users to play online in minutes, provided they have a dartboard and darts prepared for action. Putting together the VirtCam is hailed as 'a breeze' as the device attaches to the wall or an existing MOD dartboard set-up and simply needs plugging in.
