At just 17 years old, he clinched the PDC World Darts Championship, becoming the youngest world champion in the history of the sport. Following his historic victory, he expressed his disbelief, saying: 'I just can't believe it.
Walking around backstage with it, I can tell myself I've won it and it's mine, but it's not sunk in.' His path to glory was marked by intense matches, including a particularly emotional win over Ryan Meikle that led to his post-match interview being cut short. He also dominated against Stephen Bunting from Merseyside, securing a 6-1 set victory. Littler's triumphant run culminated last Friday with a 7-3 win against former World Champion Michael Van Gerwen, adding to his impressive haul of titles in 2024, which includes the Premier League, World Series, and Grand Slam. Since clinching the top prize in darts, Luke has been inundated with support, including heartfelt messages like 'So pleased for you Luke!
