Luke's rep said yesterday: "Actor Luke Perry, 52, passed away today after suffering a massive stroke. "The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning.He shot to fame in 1990 aged just 23 years old after being cast as heart breaker Dylan McKay in 90210.
The show attracted him millions of teenage fans but he hated the moniker that came with his new pin-up status.
