LULU has lifted the lid on her relationship with David Bowie - hinting the iconic music pair might have been more than just friends.
The Glaswegian singer, famous for recording the title track of the 1974 James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun and winning Eurovision in 1969, had just divorced her first spouse, former Bee Gees star Maurice Gibb, in 1973, when she met the Ziggy Stardust legend, who died aged 69 in 2016.She couldn't keep up with the music icon's lifestyle.Credit: Redferns
Speaking on the Rosebud podcast, she said: “I had a relationship with David Bowie that was kind of amazing really. We recognised something in each other. “And then when I went to New York after the first hit - quite a few months after the first hit he was involved in a lifestyle that was a little frightening to me.
