Minnie Rose opened its first retail store on Lexington Avenue and 73rd Street in New York's Upper East Side
the luxury cashmere knitwear brand, threw a welcome party Tuesday night at its first retail store at 1019 Lexington Avenue in New York.
“I chose this neighborhood because my parents lived around the corner, and I always loved the area. It’s so quaint and charming,” said Lisa Shaller-Goldberg, founder and creative director of Minnie Rose, which she started in 2006. The 750-square-foot store on the corner of East 73rd Street gets lots of light, has a seating area, two dressing rooms and features some of her late mother’s decor, such as brass shelving and vintage perfume bottles.
