The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said on Wednesday that two roads were rendered impassable and four highways have limited accessibility in Luzon and Mindanao due to Typhoon EgayPH.
In its report as of 6 a.m., the DPWH said the affected roads were located in the Cordillera Administrative Region , Central Mindanao , and Region IV-B.Baguio-Bontoc Road, K0347+090 – K0347+180, Mt. Data, Bauko in Mt. Province
Awang-Upi-Lebak-Kalamansig-Palimbang-Sarangani Road, K1995+450, Barangay Kidayan, Palimbang in Sultan Kudarat One lane passable to light vehicles:Gov. Bado Dangwa National Road, K0313+450 – K0313+470, Poblacion, Kibungan, Benguet ; Banaue-Hungduan-Benguet Boundary Road, K0355+960 – K0355+985, Bokiawan, Hungduan; and K0380+500 – K0380+525, Abatan, Hungduan, Ifugao Calapan South Road, K0182+278, Barangay Campaasan, Bulalacao, Oriental Mindoro
The DPWH said its quick-response teams were dispatched to expedite emergency repair works and carry out clearing operations so that the affected roads may be reopened and ensure access for government relief efforts. —
