Dyfed-Powys Police say Leyson had travelled across the UK for the last 16 months, before she returned to the area on Sunday evening and was arrested.
Police say they have arrested a woman who spent 16 months on the run after being sentenced for drugs offences. Lynne Leyson, 53, was arrested at Pibwr Farm in Capel Dewi, Carmarthenshire, on Monday. She had travelled across the UK during her 16 months on the run, before returning to the Dyfed-Powys Police area on Sunday evening, according to the force. Police efforts to locate Leyson over the last 16 months included a wanted appeal and a Crimestoppers reward.
Officers from Dyfed-Powys Police conducted a warrant at Pibwr Farm in October 2021 and found 592g of cocaine, which had a street value of between £47,760 and £60,200. They also found £17,190 in cash, 1.4kg of cannabis with a street value of approximately £15,615 and a semi-automatic pistol. Police have arrested a 26-year-old woman on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
