The final night of Lytham Festival in 2022!
The singer, perhaps best known as a solo artist for hits including You Do Something to Me and Broken Stones, performed for almost two hours at the event. His show brought the 10-day festival to an end. He would also perform hits from The Style Council and That's Entertainment and Town Called Malice from The Jam.
He was supported by The Charlatans, Lottery Winners and Nia Wynn - all of which proved popular with the thousands of people in attendance.Earlier in the festival, there were performances from headliners Diana Ross, Lewis Capaldi, Snow Patrol, Duran Duran, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Simply Red, Elbow, The Strokes and Alison Moyet.
Over the 10 day event, almost 200,000 attended. Paul Weller described the gig as 'extraordinary' and praised the 'beautiful audience. He said: "What an extraordinary gig. Acts have ranged from the likes of Billy Ocean, Tom Jones, Faithless, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds to Bryan Adams.
People come from far to enjoy the festival, which celebrated it's 10th year in 2019. This year, Gogglebox's Sophie Sandiford was spotted at the festival with her brother Pete and his wife, as well as some friends.
