Residents have been worried what increased capacity will mean for them
The organisers of the Lytham Festival addressed concerns over a licensing issue with a bumper crowd expected this year.
This year’s event will feature acts including George Ezra, Lionel Richie and a double headline of Def Leppard & Mötley Crüe. Two dates are being earmarked for the larger capacities and as a result, the VIP lounge marquess will be removed.According to organisers Daniel Cuffe & Peter Taylor, the licensing change is necessary to allow this and that all plans must also be signed off by an independent Safety Advisory Group.
