Marks and Spencer has slashed the Hobbs' polka dot midi dress by £80 in the summer sale - and it's the perfect dress for copying Kate Middleton's Royal Ascot style
The summer sales are in full swing, and Marks and Spencer is absolutely no exception. The high street favourite has cut prices on some of its top-selling brands, making it the perfect time to grab a bargain.
For the prestigious racing event, the Princess of Wales chose a stunning white midi dress with a black polka dot print, a high neck, and a pleated midi skirt. The fitted bodice helps create a flattering silhouette, and the dress comes with a matching tie waist belt to help cinch in your waist. Rather than Kate's simple high neckline, however, the shirt dress has a button up collared neckline, which lets you fasten it all the way up or leave one or two buttons undone for a slightly more relaxed look.
However, if you head directly to the Hobbs website you can choose from either a petite or regular length, with the regular length still having sizes 12-18 in stock, whilst the petite version has sizes 10, 12, 16, 18 and 20 in available. It's worth noting that the discount isn't quite as good when shopping directly from Hobbs, however; it's currently reduced to £129, rather than £106 on M&S.
