The M1 has now reopened in both directions

The junction at Dungannon has reopened as news of a confirmed fatality has sadly been confirmedThe Northern Ireland Fire Service have said they sent two fire appliances to the scene of the collision on Wednesday.

The NIFRS received the call shortly before 11am, with fire engines from Dungannon and Portadown attending.Conor CoyleDrivers on the M1 have reported lengthy delays of up to an hour, with cars queued back for several miles in the westbound carriage. Delays have also been reported in the Moy with many drivers leaving the motorway via the previous exit and going through the town.In an update provided at 4pm today, the PSNI said the M1 remains closed in both directions on Wednesday following a serious crash.Ambulance service contacted

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service has been contacted for a statement on their attendance at the collision.ShareA police spokesperson said: "Motorists are advised that the M1 is now also closed westbound at Junction 14, following a serious road traffic collision this morning. Please seek alternate routes for your journey."Police have now said that the M1 has been closed in both directions between Dungannon and Tamnamore.

Due to a serious incident the M1 Motorway is closed Eastbound and Westbound between Junctions 14 & 15.
