There are delays on the M56 this morning due to a collision near Manchester Airport . Two lanes are shut following the crash on the eastbound carriageway.
Two lanes are currently closed, with 'slow traffic' causing delays. Cheshire Police have been contacted for a statement on the incident.The latest update from Inrix reads: "All lanes open and traffic returned to normal, accident cleared on M56 Eastbound from J7 A556 Chester Road to J6 A538 Wilmslow Road ."There are still miles of congestion this morning following the crashon the M56.
