All schemes are subject to weather conditions. The planned full weekend closures of the M6 between Whittingham Lane and Stewarts Wood will no longer be taking place.
The new schedule of works will be carried out using lane closures for four weeks starting on Sunday October 2, which will ensure the motorway remains open during the daytime providing a safe environment for both workers and road users. This will result in the following:.Temporary traffic lights will be in place between October 5 and October 7 to allow Virgin Media to carry out utility repairs and maintenance works.Two-way traffic lights will be in place until Tuesday October 4.
