Motorists on the M6 are facing 'severe delays' on the motorway this afternoon following a crash near Preston .

They told LancsLive:Their update reads: "Queueing traffic due to earlier crash on M6 Southbound from J31A B6242 Bluebell Way to J31 A59 Preston New Road ."
It also states: "Delays of nine minutes and delays increasing on M6 Southbound between M6 and J31 A59 Preston New Road .
