Happening on the M6 THIS MORNING
National Highways has said they will be closing part of the M6 this morning on the southbound carriageway between junction 34 for Lancaster and junction 33 for Garstang. Two of three lanes will be closed at about 10.30am.
It has not been said how long the lanes will be closed for, however, motorists are being warned to expect delays. This is in order to allow an overturned lorry to be removed from the embankment.A spokesperson for National Highways said: "ADVANCE WARNING #M6 southbound between J34 #Lancaster and J33 #Garstang
"#Lancashire Later this morning , we need to close 2 lanes to allow a lorry that overturned onto the embankment on Monday to be recovered. Delays possible."
