A car has hit the central reservation, motorway police said
Two lanes are currently closed on the eastbound side of the motorway between junction 19 for Heywood and junction 20 for Rochdale. .
Queues are building up to the closure. In a post on X, North West Motorway Police said: "Police and National Highways are currently dealing with an incident Junction 19 to 20 M62 Eastbound where a vehicle has collided with the central reservation.All lanes on the M62 eastbound have now been reopened.
