Traffic built tonight on the M65 after a crash halted the rush hour. Traffic was stationary on the eastbound carriageway from J5 A6077 to J6 A6119 Whitebirk Drive from shortly before 4pm.
Traffic was permitted to use the route with one lane closure in place from around 5.30pm. The route was fully reopened and traffic cleared just after 6pm. AA Traffic Maps states: "Severe delays of 35 minutes and delays increasing on M65 Eastbound between J3 A674 Chorley Road and J6 A6119 Whitebirk Drive .
