A video shows the artist crowd surfing in what is said to be one of the more bizarre videos seen when it comes to the cinch this year - and Hoops fans have shared their seal of approval.
Celtic fans were buzzing after American rapper Macklemore appeared on stage wearing a Hoops strip, as he performed in front of thousands of excited fans during a gig in New York City.
The rapper, whose real name is Benjamin Hammond Haggerty, is of Irish heritage but has never made his love for Celtic FC public, until now. The 40-year-old star rocked the shirt during his show at Pier 17 in lower Manhattan. A video from X user @lisutheloser shows the world-renowned artist crowd surfing in what is said to be one of the more bizarre videos seen when it comes to the cinch this year. In other videos, fans are seen singing along to some of his best hits including 'Can't Hold Us'. Macklemore is shown to have 'Haggarty 83' on the back of his shirt - his last name and the year he was born.One wrote: "Great choice of shirt."A third wrote: "Not a clue who this dude is, but he'll dae for me Celtic top having it large."
