Madeleine McCann's parents have shared a heartbreaking message to mark their missing daughter's 20th birthday, stating they are 'never going to give up' searching for her.

"I used this sentence to create a nickname for my old Instagram account, it was my mistake and I know it and I apologise for that because I should use words 'Am I Madeleine McCann' not 'I Am'. In 2007, Madeleine went missing from a Portuguese holiday apartment where she was sleeping alongside her siblings.
Her parents were dining nearby and when Ms McCann went to check on the children back at the apartment later that evening, Madeleine was gone. The disappearance grabbed the world’s attention and consequently led to several women coming forward over the years to claim relation to the McCann family.
